The Special Moment in Our Lives...

After all the preparations had been made, the day came! It was a day not only for hubby and I but for everybody in the family since it was also my parents' Golden Wedding Anniversary rolled as one.

All my Aunties, Uncles, Tiyas and Tiyos on both my father and mother side were present to celebrate with us. It was really a moment to remember.

It was a day well attended by all important people in our lives. A lot of our neighbors, friends and colleagues also graced the occasion. It was really a day to remember.

On the Big Day Preparation....

Hubby and I decided to have our church vows simultaneously with my parents on their 50th Wedding Anniversary. It was a hard decision for us to make because we did not want to deprive my parents of the attention that was due them. However after consulting them and my brothers and sisters, the approval was so overwhelming. My sisters took charge of the program and invitations while my brothers took cake of the venue. It was a concerted effort and everybody chipped in for all the expenses.

Here is the glimpse of how the place looked like on that day:

This is my brother's place where the reception was going to be held and this was our point of entry from the church. My parents' entrance was on the opposite side as my Aunts suggested.

My bana took a picture inside the reception hall while it was still in the making. Gold is the motif of the occasion as shown in most of the skirting.

These were the few pictures inside the church that were taken prior to the event that took place in May 20.
